Today I am thinking about paper trimmers

What kind do you use do you have more that one?

I have a 12x12 Guillotine 2 in cutter combo

from Purple Cow 

great for mass producing

I have had this since 2007

and a screw came off in a place I can't get it back on

so it is a little jiggly

have been thinking about getting a new trimmer not sure what to get

would love the

Tonic 12X6 Guillotine Paper Trimmer by it is out of stock

every where I searched

also  

on my desk I have a 9" Surecut paper trimmer

form Fiskar 

 

Can't wait to see what everyone else has and how they like their trimmers

Today thinking about adhesive & glue

What brands are your favorites

what do you use most often.

I think I have tried almost all of them

bought an atg gun when that was the craze

found because I sit when I make my cards and my desk

is not that large that really didn't work for me

I do use it for certain things but not that often

got the

Martha Stewart Adhesive roller 

didn't like this one

saw Lori Whitlock use
Zip Dry 

that kept getting clogged so that was a NO

so the one I found that works for me is the TomBow glue runner
 and I can get the

refills at AC Moore in at 3 pack for $9.99 with a 40% off coupon

for 3D projects I like

Scotch and TomBow multi and scor tape

 Due use glue dots under my bows and for buttons

for tiny things

can't beat a Zig glue pen 

for layering I use
Scotch Foam Tape
get the "Big" roll at Staples 

and I know they aren't the cheapes
t but I love them

so easy to use
Stampin up Dimensionals

for things I want to make sure
that they NEVER come off
I use Glossy accents

for sequins
Ranger multi medium matte

Saw a card on the Sizzix blog

but I had to kick it up a notch

I coated the

Sizzix Apothecary bottle die

 with some versa mark ink

then a coat of 

Ranger Ultra think embossing powder

repeated this process three times 

once the embossing cools 

you bend the paper and crack the embossing 

looks like cracked glass

I am not going to lie about it when I am at work my mind wanders

always day dreaming about crafting.

Seems I have lots of questions but don't always have the answers.

Do you work standing up or sitting down or a combination?

I have my scrap room set up so when I cut, score or embossing

I am standing but sit when I put my cards together

Trick or Treat

So I challenge myself to use items I had cut, punched,

colored, stamped and embossed last year 

that I didn't use 

feeling very inspired to look at all those leftovers 

in a different way.

I was watching a video by Nichol Magouirk

she was making the cutest Halloween card and said how much

she like to make "Scene Cards"

it was like a giant light bulb went off....

and I realized that out of all the cards I create I like 

my scene cards the best...

 this weekend I did make a stop

at AC Moore they had a 55% off coupon

I had a $10 reward so I treated myself to an 

Ott Light really happy with the way it helps to

make my pictures look better.

Back to work tomorrow wishing I had another day or

two to create.....
