in place the rest shake with a bunch of

assorted sequins

shop I used to go to as a teenager

Chocolate shakes, fries and a jukebox...

oh those were the days!

Awesome colors on your card and I really line the

diagonal lines of the paper.

Got this adorable set

not going to lie

it has been a tough week

getting back to work and

crafting. It took me all week to

do this one card

Started with a watercolor background

with some Tim Holtz Distressed inks

then colored the little crayons to

match with some copic markers

I used a star from

Lawn Fawn

Lucky Stars

topped with stickles

on the bottom used my

Martha Stewart

drippy punch

colored Tim Holtz distressed inks

 

a few matching sequins and

some twine

So sorry I wasn't

able to get this posted

yesterday and

Ok so yes I am going to need

a vacation to recover from my vacation

Had a fabulous time in Florida

with my family.

Lots of laughing, eating and frozen beach drinks

all unpacked washing done but

so sad to go back to work tomorrow

but happy with thoughts of getting back

to crafting this week.

The little scarecrow is just so sweet. All your
inking is beautiful. Terrific idea
to use a border punch to make the leaves for the shaker.
I bet the leaves falling are awesome. Even though I
am not ready for fall this card could change my
mind with all it's cuteness.

this is a new little technique I have made 

on a few cards ink splattering

now I am sorry for all the 

"technical" terms 

first I smear some

Tim Holtz ink on a 

block 

 I spritz it with water  

 In the bottle I mix some

perfect pearls this give the water

a shimmer 

you can kind of see  

 Pearlessence on the inside of 

the bottle 

 then you take the paint brush

and flick it toward the paper

the more ink you have on the 

brush you get larger splatters 

the less water gives you smaller 

splatters
