I usually use white but sometimes kraft or black or cream. Hobby Lobby carries heavyweight cardstock in those colors and I like the base to be nice and strong, so I usually stick with those colors :) Have a great day :)
My white 110-lb cardstock is the base I use 99% of the time. I like that it's stronger than my other cardstock, although now that I think of it I do have some pastel-coloured in 110-lb so I should be using that more often. Thanks for reminding me!
I always use colored card stock.... I think white is plain and cheap IMO... When I have used white I always make sure there is color CS layers.... Outside & inside....
Mostly use white or Kraft but have used other colors. It is easier to write on white. Most times when I use other colors I'll attach the base to a white card or Kraft card. Melissa "Sunshine HoneyBee"
I usually use white for my card base. I add color card stock to the front for a base unless I want white to be the base for my card front. Crafty hugs, Dawn DesignsByDragonfly {blogspot}
