Sunshine Fridge Magnets

Sometimes don't know how ideas pop into my head just know that they do
last night I was on youtube look for storage ideas for spellbinders nestabilities one person used magnet tape and the picture portion of the cardboard that comes with the dies...so I know I have some of that some were so I start looking for it pull out my box of scraps and unused cuts to look in the box I think it's in and no but in that box is a whole stack of fridge magnets and the light bulb went off fridge magnets and scraps......
Karen put them together and turn those ugly old magnets in to something bright and cheery for the fridge in the morning

so here is what I did in just a few minutes all from scraps and cuts I made for who know what but didn't use I added a few buttons and on the first one
used some glossy accents on the suns on the second one stamped the always
because it was the only stamp that fit but I think it's cute added a few liquid pearls and some faux stitching the majority of the papers are from basicgrey

Vintage Style

Started with a digital stamp from Elizabeth Mae's  from the dress form collection. If you get a chance go over and check out her stamps they are super cute. Mary on CardzTv did a video with one of  them. that is how I found them. Colored in with copic markers. Punched out with spellbinders classic scalloped ovals large #5 A2 card base navy mat in aqua mist from PTI run through the cuttlebug embossing folder spots and dots. All edges inked with Studio G ink. PTI summer sunrise ribbon and a prima flower. Vintage style from PTI Button Boutique collection. A few liquid pearls from ranger buttercup first time I have use these think I need a little more practice with them. Was wondering if anyone has compared them and viva decor pearl pens and if so which ones did you like better.

Organized your Ribbon pieces

 Georgiana over at
is having a Scraps Blog Hop
Today she is using Ribbon Scraps
This idea came from
PaperJunkie Too
and it's how I store my ribbon scraps
You need the George and Basic Shape Cart
and your Gypsy to cut the file
this is the Cut
This is how you Thread the ribbon on
Clip all the holders on a ring
And all those little pieces of ribbon
are nice neat easy to see and pick the
color you need.
If you are a follower but don't have George or a gypsy
let me know I will cut you a full page of these and mail them to you.

:(

Maybe it's because I am all out of my striped paper or maybe it's because I have been going in to work an hour early and staying an hour late.....I tried the last two nights to finish a card I was working on for a few challenges and nothing on it has gone right. I have torn it apart and started again several times now...I will try again tomorrow so in the mean time the flowers in my garden don't seem to mind that I haven't weeded.
