Fun Friday Shape UP!

first week back from vacation was a killer at work
first day back big complaint file handed to me
three days, opinions from two co-workers
one conference call and it's all worked out whew!

Now on to the weekend.....
this is the time of year I know I start dreading
putting on a bathing suit know I have to cut some calories and
get back in shape so this week the Fun Friday Challenge is to
Shape UP!

any project, layout or card shape other than A2
square, round....so many of the cricut carts have
shaped cards on them give it a whirl
or use the cricut craftroom, gypsy, or
if you have a different cutter an svg file

do you think airport security would stop me if I bring my cricut in

my carry on? Ha Ha just kidding not sure how it's going to work out

but going cold turkey no crafting for a week...

Hey Everyone it's time for another FUN FRIDAY CHALLENGE
leaving on vacation tomorrow for Florida to visit my mom and dad
this week flew by getting all the work on my desk caught up
packing, making sure I had everything on my list
so looking forward to some down time and and little time to
visit every one's blog....

the weather in upstate NY has been fabulous this week flowers are blooming
and with the flowers comes some bee's and bugs
so this week display a bug

Hi Everyone Hope everyone has had a wonderful week

mine has been so busy getting ready to leave for Florida on Saturday

going to visit my mom and dad

meeting my older brother and sister in law for a week of

lying around the pool and relaxing

so my apologies to everyone I didn't have any time to blog this

week but I hope to catch up next week!

 

Today is a New Challenge at

CARDZ TV

“There’s no other like my Mother”

 Challenge #29 

which is perfect timing for me putting this card in my suitcase in bubble wrap

hope it doesn't get squished!

This is a flower easel card

I used

CARDZ TV Stamps

"Mother's Day"

For the "Mom" I just masked off the Mom from Mom you Rock

the file is from

3D Flower Set 3

I will try my best to explain how I did this

paper is Tim Holtz colorcore core'dinations card stock

I took one of the flower shapes and sized it at 4.25

copied it and flipped it and welded the two together for the base of the card

the I add a circle side at 2 inches to the center of each of the base flower for stability

Then I cut a single flowers at 4.25, 3",2"

Ran this through the cuttle bug with Sizzix Vines folder

sanded the paper gentle or it will break from the embossing

inked with tattered rose and peeled paint

Both sentiments are stamped on  

 dies in the

a little bow and some crinkle ribbon and a brad I have had forever...
