Think about it Thursday

Thinking about card designing and sentiments today
Do you Design your card first then add a sentiment that
"fits"
Or do you start with the sentiment and build your card from there
Normally I start with the design
then add a sentiment

  2. I do both I start with a design and then add a sentiment and also have chosen a sentiment first then designed for it. When I choose the sentiment it usually is a holiday card. Halloween is a good example in which I chose the candy corn sentiment by My Craft Spot and then came up with the Cricut candy corn girl shaped card I posted awhile ago on my blog.

  3. I always add my sentiment last. I have the sentiment in mind when I start and I like to leave a place for it, but it doesn't get added to the card until the end, just before I add any teeny-tiny embellies. Good question!

  4. I usually start with the sentiment. I have so many stamp sets. I look through them find a sentiment then design the card. If I don't do that I end up using a generic Happy Birthday or Get Well sentiment. Karen I am loving Think about it Thursday.

  5. I actually do a little of both. But most of the time, I will look for a sentiment I want to use and build a project around it. Have a great day :)

  6. I start with the design and then sentiment!! When it comes to the design I usually look for a sketch challenge.
