Think about it Thursday

Today thinking about adhesive & glue
What brands are your favorites
what do you use most often.
I think I have tried almost all of them
bought an atg gun when that was the craze
found because I sit when I make my cards and my desk
is not that large that really didn't work for me
I do use it for certain things but not that often
got the
Martha Stewart Adhesive roller
didn't like this one
saw Lori Whitlock use
Zip Dry
that kept getting clogged so that was a NO
so the one I found that works for me is the TomBow glue runner
 and I can get the
refills at AC Moore in at 3 pack for $9.99 with a 40% off coupon

for 3D projects I like
Scotch and TomBow multi and scor tape
Due use glue dots under my bows and for buttons
for tiny things
can't beat a Zig glue pen
for layering I use
Scotch Foam Tape
get the "Big" roll at Staples
and I know they aren't the cheapes
t but I love them
so easy to use
Stampin up Dimensionals

for things I want to make sure
that they NEVER come off
I use Glossy accents

for sequins
Ranger multi medium matte
Hope you day holds together.... ;)

  1. I've been looking around for new adhesives lately myself so I'm glad to see what's worked for you. I use the Ultimate Glue for attaching bows and flowers, Zot Dots glue dots for little items, Zig glue pen for tiny things (can't live without that one!), and ATG gun but I haven't been happy with it. Looking forward to seeing what others use as well. Thank you for your recommendations!

  2. The tombow is my favorite glue. I use the zig zag glue for small pieces, and as for the SU" dimensionals, it is my favorite!
    Have a wonderful day,

  3. I use my ATG gun for paper layers on my cards, but I do use ScoreTape quite a bit...I feel like it holds better. I use Zot Dots for bows and flowers but when I want to make sure they stay on, I add a drop or two of glossy accents. That's my go-to adhesive!! I also use the Scotch Foam Mounting Tape, but I get it in the hardware section of Wal-Mart..it's a bigger size foam but it's cheaper than what they have in the scrapbook area and I can just cut it to the size I need. Thanks for this...I'm always looking for new adhesives to use!! Have a great day :)

  5. When I first started scrapbooking & card making I used adhesive squares. A good friend of mine told me about the ATG gun & other adhesives and they are so much easier to use than the squares that you have to peel off & toss. I use my ATG gun a lot. Also have small Scotch & recently Tombow Extreme adhesive that both have refills. I use Michaels adhesive dots: micro & small. I use foam adhesive: Michaels brand, Scotch foam & Stampin' Up deimensionals. Use glossy accents. For ribbon & other things I use red tape in smallest width & next size up width. Wish that the red tape came in a bigger pkg; not bigger width but more on the spool.

  6. For layering paper I use my ATG or Zig 2 Way if the piece is small. For 3D projects I use Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and Score Tape. When adding googly eyes or gems I use Glossy Accents.

  7. I have two ATGs. One filled with general use for card making and one filled with acid free.for mini albums, etc. For small things I use Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. I use glue dots for ribbons, buttons and sequins but just got some Glossy Accents to give that a try. I use Scotch foam tape to add dimension. I use red tape or score tape for 3D items or for things I need that extra hold for.
